Your data and making a credit proposal
The information provided by you in your completed proposal will be passed to one or more finance companies ('Lender') for the purpose of a credit application. The Lender may use the services of credit reference agencies and fraud prevention agencies in order to access your credit status.
If you are making a joint application, then you must be entitled to disclose the information for any other party in the proposal. If the application is from a business, checks may be sought on the company directors, partners or principle individuals.
A record of the searches will be kept and may be used by other lenders in assessing any future credit applications by you or members of your household. If any false or inaccurate information is provided and fraud is identified, details will be passed to fraud prevention agencies.
